Hush Turbine: Hume City Council 12-month trial

Attached is a letter (from Jason Summers, Manager Sustainable Environment, Hume City Council - dated 30 April 2008) reporting on the council's 12 month trial period of a 1-metre diameter Hush Turbine at the council's Sunbury Depot.

Notable comments:

"Most staff surveyed commented that the turbine was so quiet they often forget the turbine was onsite producing electricity."

"Council is happy to be involved in any future trials and looks forward to utilising the turbines once they come into production"
